The 5 levels of using AI: roadmap
Where you are now, what the next level looks like, and one exercise to get there this week.

FROM THE REEL
Level 1: Chat
You ask a question, you get an answer. Useful, but generic.
- Move up: stop asking one-line questions.
- Exercise: take your last 3 AI questions and rewrite them with the formula from Level 2.
Level 2: Prompt like a pro
You give a role, context, goal and format. Answers get specific and usable.
- Move up: save your best prompts as templates.
- Exercise: end every prompt this week with "Ask me questions first."
Level 3: Projects and files
The AI knows your business: price list, brand voice, past reports. You stop re-explaining.
- Move up: create a project (Claude Projects, ChatGPT Projects or a NotebookLM notebook) and upload your 5 most-used documents.
- Exercise: ask it to write something in your brand voice and compare it with your own.
Level 4: Agents
It doesn't just answer, it does the work: builds a page, fills a sheet, files a report.
- Move up: try a coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor) or an agent mode on a small, low-risk task.
- Exercise: "Build a one-page site for [business] and explain how to publish it."
Level 5: Works while you sleep
Automations reply, report and post on a schedule: DM replies, weekly sales summaries, scheduled posts.
- Move up: automate one repetitive task with n8n, Zapier or Make.
- Exercise: set up comment-to-DM automation (comment AUTO on our reel for the setup).
